Da Frigo is more than a great Osteria.  Whenever I go back to Ponzan, visits to Frigo is a ritual. For me it is an anchor, a place to quench my thirst, get my bearings to my various relatives. And throughout my stay we will visit many times, to play cards, drink and to catch up on the news.

This picture was taken in 1965 just before it was torn down to be replaced by the modern version of today .
